Training and Services
MONTHLY TRAINING
NEW for 2025, Meredith is shifting away from ongoing traditional monthly full training to offer intention-focused engagements with clients and their horses. These fully customized 6- 9- or 12-month long engagement containers create deep alignment between Meredith, her client and their horse and allow for greater flexibility in creating a training program to suit the needs of the client and their horse.
To this, Meredith is able to offer a wider range of “intensity options” for weekly sessions than the traditional monthly offerings of full or part training.
Meredith shifted towards intention-based engagements after observing over the years that the students and their horses who demonstrated the most growth and achieved their desired outcomes - were the ones who came to her with the greatest clarity about what they wanted to get out of working with her and many times had a time frame. Meredith then recognized the business side of how she works with clients needed to be realigned so every client coming to her could experience the power of her intention-focused work.
Naturally, Meredith welcomes setting new intentions for working together at the conclusion of each engagement container!
Pricing is based on board + duration + intensity of engagement.
Regardless of the duration and intensity of the engagement, every horse receives the same standard of care. Turnout is 7 days a week, weather permitting. Turnout, blanking, and bug protection services are included.
CARE
California Indoor-Outdoor Living - your horse is turned out as much as they want to be, weather-permitting.
High Quality, Premium Hay (whatever type your horse needs)
Social Dynamics Matter - group and individual turnout offered. Horses are frequently seen playing and interacting with each other across fence lines; solo does not equate devoid of social interaction!
Relaxed atmosphere - Stressed humans create stressed horses. Meredith makes intentional decisions about how she operates and who she brings on to create a relaxed, supportive atmosphere for the horses. At MCD, we strive to hit the line between flexible and attentive to each horse’s individual behavior without being neurotic.
